We just finished building with Hycraft and we could not be happier. I’ve never experienced such a stress free build and I’ve built custom and with a “neighborhood builder”. Jordan and the whole team are so easy to work with and they really care. They made everything we wanted, happen! We had the pleasure of working with Hycraft Homes to build our 2 bedroom cottage which will hopefully be the first of many projects with Jordan and his highly qualified team. Doing a new build is always a daunting task especially when you are doing it from abroad but Hycraft Homes made it a smooth and easy process for us. You owe it to yourself to give Hycraft Homes a serious look when considering a home builder. I researched several builders and had decided to go with a builder I had used in the past. Fortunately someone strongly suggested I give Jordan McDonald at Hycraft Homes a call before making a final decision. Based on the stellar review he gave, I made what has turned out be one of the best phone calls ever, I consider it a true blessing that I took that advice! During our first meeting we discussed what I had in mind and I was impressed with what Hycraft had to offer. I was able to get a much higher quality home with many extras that would not have been possible had I gone with the other builder. Our second meeting was on site, Jordan walked the property with me, briars and all! He was very knowledgeable and patient to offer several possible location options, explaining the particulars of each and how it would impact my budget and the appearance of the home, I really appreciated that. My home is about halfway complete and in no particular order, here are a few things I can tell you about Hycraft and Jordan: Price has come in at plan. On schedule. Quality of workmanship exceeds my expectations (and that is not easy to do). Always takes my calls, texts and emails or promptly returns them. Explains things so a lay person can understand. Assisted me with land clearing, utilities, POA etc. Creative ideas that are beautiful, make sense and add value to the property, again far exceeding my hopes. Structurally superior, second to none. Personally on site often, inspecting the work of ALL craftsman. Uses vetted contractors (who were all very kind to me I might add). High moral character, genuine, fun to work with, reliable, intelligent- I’m telling you this man loves his work, he loves building people’s dream home! Far different from my experience in the past!
